Wynwood 2015, Street Art During Miami Art Week
As a Philadelphia commercial and editorial photographer who also maintains a fine arts practice, I make a point to keep current on the art world. This involves going to talks and openings in Philadelphia and New York. I also regularly go to art fairs.
During the first week of December, several art fairs occur in and around Miami. This is called Miami Art Week, and features fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach and Art Miami.
These photographs were made in Wynwood. Wynwood is a neighborhood in Miami. A former industrial area, in recent years it has become a hip, rapidly developing neighborhood, as well as a haven for street artists during Miami Art Week.
