Description
From my project ‘Blue Hole’.
Blue Holes are former quarries. Long abandoned, and filled with water as well as industrial refuse, they now serve as party and swimming spots for locals. Depending on who you ask, one in particular is also known as the home of The Jersey Devil.
This work was made using a lens constructed from a discarded beer can found on site. Have a conversation about consumption and waste.
Images and project statement can be found here. I also have a gallery on this site, as well as a blog post with an extensive write-up on the work.
